Holiday sequins

One thing I love about the holidays is being able to dress up. Sequins, glitter, jewels anything that is unconventional to wear all the time, I love! I bought this sequin skirt 2 years ago and it is still my favorite skirt. Do I wear it all the time? Of Course Not! But, when a chance comes to wear it I do not hesitate. Because it is so out there I tamed it down with a basic t-shirt and jewelry to balance how glorious the bottom skirt is. Most of the time, if it is a sequin skirt, I tuck in the shirt and wear it as a high waisted skirt.

Family Pictures

I cannot explain how much I love these two guys in my life! As most of you know my husband surprised me on the day of our wedding with my most favorite type of dog in the world (English Bulldog) I cried so hard lol. So it instantly became the three of us and I wouldn't change a thing. Yes, I would probably be getting more sleep without a puppy who likes to sleep on your head and constantly be touching you so he can sleep BUT he is just so darn cute! And don't get me started on how incredibly handsome my husband is too ;) I was so happy at how wonderful these pictures that Miranda Taack turned out. She was actually the one who took our surprise engagement pictures so it was only fit that she take our first "family pictures" for us :)

P.S my puppy is more photogenic than my husband and I combined haha.

The Best Time of Year

I love December! The only Problem with this month is that I have my Birthday.... I hate getting older and it seems that time is just flying by me and I'm just stuck in a rut. I know some people may say I am a shopaholic and that I look like the girl from the movie but i'm not!! LOL But, like the girl in the movie shopping makes me feel better so I love going home for the holidays because my mom spoils me with buying me new clothes for my Christmas/Birthday gift so I am NOT complaining. There's just something about clothes and making new outfits that takes me out of that rut and puts me in my happy place. Am I the only one like that? All I know is that clothes are my God loves me sign. But also remember during this holiday season that it's about giving and bringing happiness to everyone you meet and reminiscing in the birth of our Saviour! I love you all and don't forget to Be Love Always! XO

I don't have a lot to say other than that I've been blessed. God has been so good to me and I am so glad he gave me such a loving family on both sides of my life. Feeling the blues..

Have I already said how much I love Fall!?! Today was one of those days where even if I had ten layers on it still wouldn't be enough. Hopefully while we are in New Mexico we can see some snow since Texas is aliiiiittle late on the season thing. In less than 12 hours this girl will be home sweet home in Rio Rancho. There's something about being home that makes the holiday season so much more. Glad I get to spend this holiday with people I love. XOX Kelli
